London Underground - Caliberation Unit – Extension Project - Phases I & II

London Underground Calibration UnitDescription of Works; To convert a disused Warehouse/Store Area to a new workshop/laboratory unit. The Calibration dept. of LUL require a climate controlled work area with constant temperatures to enable their work of Re-Calibrating Survey & Gauging Equipment.

The project involved sectioning off a section of the warehouse, erecting insulated metal studwork partitions, new insulated Suspended ceilings, new lighting and small power, new Anti-Slip flooring, new extraction system for fumes, new Air Conditioning, Creation of Structural Openings to link the existing Caliberation Unit to the newly extended area, Tiling, Decorations & 2nd Fix Joinery.

London Underground - Commercial Kitchen/Restaurant Fit Out

The scope of work included strip out of existing kitchen, make safe and adapt services, removal of existing floor and wall tiling and backing, new floor screed and wall plastering, new lighting, electric and gas services, new extract canopy, anti slip floor tiling, wall tiling, roof lights to staff offices off the kitchen, joinery and supply and installation of new kitchen equipment.
The program duration was short and important to our client. H A Marks scheduled noisy works not to occur around canteen busy periods and materials were carefully specified to aid the program. For example, the floor screed drying out times would have an effect on commencing the floor tiling.
